“Hello, my name is Kiya Johnson, and I would like to express my great gratitude to Mr. Bill Chapman and Blind Truths organization. The organization was able to donate an iPhone to me and this became a pivotal part of my life, as I was an aspiring author and need is something to be able to carry my book between my computer and a handheld device. This phone also became a part of my every day routine, using an android phone is much harder for a blind person. As I know this having had an android phone before it broke down on me. Therefore, I could never give enough thanks to Blind Truths organization for their help, and not only donating a phone that made my life physically better, but encouraging my confidence to become an author. Finally I have finished my book, the name of it is, “Me, Myself, and Who the hell am I?” This book will help millions of people learn to open doors to talk about situations that need to be addressed, to help heal our communities. I also hope that others will have the opportunity to receive help from Blind Truths organization, for it is not only the physical donation that helps, but they also give the confidence to achieve goals, and I hope someday I am able to give back and help this community organization continue and thrive.
